The mission of The Raphael Institute, College of the
Healing and Medicinal Arts is to provide education, research,
service and teaching about the healing and medicinal arts.
TRI will
provide the mid-south region information about the applied sciences
of medicine in the areas of holonistic naturopathic, homeopathic,
energetic, traditional Chinese medicine, ayervedic and other systems
of medical treatment of disease.
New and innovative models of
diagnosis, disease management and possible cure will be investigated
with emphasis on nutrition, allergy, xenobiotic exposure, hormonal
balance, immune modulation, systemic toxicities and chronic
infections.
Laboratory diagnostic methods will be pioneered to
establish correlations between endogenous and exogenous toxins,
infectious disease and ill health.
TRI was founded by Kevin S. Merigian, M.D. and driven by the search
for truth related to healing and the medicinal arts.
